Manage Courses

Last updated 5 days ago

After a course is created, you can edit its content, control whether it is live, and share it with patients or staff. This guide covers the day-to-day tasks for managing existing courses.

Before you begin

You need at least one course already created in Subflow. See Create a Course if you have not created one yet.

Edit course settings

The course settings panel lets you update the title, description, image, and access type for a course.

  1. Access Content and navigate to Courses. The course list opens.

  2. Click the course you want to edit to open the course editor.

  3. Click Edit to update the title, description, image, or access type.

  4. Close the modal and Save changes.

Edit a module

The module title is editable from the settings panel in the course editor.

  1. Open the course in the editor.

  2. In the right panel, click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the module name. From here you can Edit, Duplicate or Delete it.

  3. Click Save changes once you’re done so you keep your updates.

Edit a lesson

Each lesson can be updated from the course editor at any time.

  1. Open the course in the editor.

  2. In the right panel, click the lesson title you want to edit.

  3. Update the video, title, description, or resources in the Course Lesson panel.

  4. Click Close and then Save changes.

Publish or unpublish a course

Toggling the publish status controls whether a course's link is active and accessible to learners.

  1. Open the course in the editor.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner and select Settings. The Course Overview modal opens.

  3. Toggle Published on to make the course live, or off to make it offline.

  4. Click Close.

✏️ Unpublishing a course deactivates its link. Anyone who tries to open it will not be able to view the content until you publish it again.

Copy the course link

Each course has a shareable link you can send to patients or staff.

  1. Open the course in the editor.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Copy Link. The course link is copied to your clipboard.

✏️ Share this link with patients or staff. Public courses are open to anyone with the link. Private courses require portal access.
